Kishia is an actor, entrepreneur and writer. From an early age she expressed her love for creativity through reading, writing short stories and acting in community theater programs. After completing her degree in Communications-Mass Media and Fashion, she was awarded a fellowship endorsed by Colin Powell under the National Promise Fellowship program. "I've had such interesting experiences in my life and plan to have many more! I appreciated the encouragement my folks gave me to be creative ~ especially Mom who was an awesome friend and role model who I miss very much"
Typically you can find Kishia at any local coffee shop with her nose in a book or hanging out with her friends and family--which includes a seven-pound Yorkshire "Terror" named Bruiser.
"Aside from writing and performing, I'm a fan of reading anything to do with the Harlem Renaissance period, Lena Horne, Micheal Jackson, writing, discovering interesting independent films, watching re-runs of Sanford & Son, traveling and having coffee with friends...What? Fred Sanford is FUNNY!"
