Kishia is an actor, entrepreneur and writer. From an early age she expressed her love for creativity through reading, writing short stories and acting in community theater programs. After completing her degree in Communications-Mass Media and Fashion, she was awarded a fellowship endorsed by Colin Powell under the National Promise Fellowship program. She later pursued careers in journalism, fundraising, real estate, and sales.

As an actor, she has appeared in numerous print advertisements and commercials. Some of her appearances include a 30-minute infomercial featuring New Orleans Chef and restaurateur, 'Big Kevin Belton', print and television ads for Cuyahoga Community College and internet video host on HEALTHYFOODSTV. She graduated from the University of Akron and attended Baldwin Wallace for music and TVI Studios New York for acting. Typically you can find Kishia at any local coffee shop with her nose in a book or hanging out with her friends and family--which includes a seven-pound Yorkshire "Terror" named Bruiser.
"Aside from writing and performing, I enjoy reading anything to do with the Harlem Renaissance period, writing, discovering interesting independent films at festivals, belly dancing, traveling and having coffee with friends...fair trade coffee of course!"
